Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo was given a red card and was suspended for two Spanish league games after he broke the nose of Malaga defender Patrick Mtiliga.

Ronaldo was also banned 3 (that’s it!?) by the Spanish soccer federation for engaging in what was described as “dangerous play that caused harm.”  The team was fined 3.

Mtiliga will be out for three weeks.
