Terry is a married man with two children so it’s no surprise that he tried to make sure that his private life be protected from public scrutiny but a High Court judge lifted a court order that prevented the media from reporting allegations about Terry’s infidelity.

It’s interesting to me that celebrities or high profile athletes expect to have their privacy protected when a regular person would not be afforded that sort of luxury (unless they were a minor or in very, very specific situations).

Terry was named “Dad of the Year” by a condiments company last year and was doing some serious work on improving his image.  While I don’t condone infidelity, I seriously don’t see why people are so surprised when this sort of story breaks.  I mean, these are rich, attractive, popular professional athletes who travel all the time and have women throwing themselves at them.  If Terry got his other balls handled, what does it really matter (unless you’re his wife, of course!)?
