The Canadian men’s soccer team will be traveling to Argentina this spring to play a friendly match in the weeks leading up to the World Cup in South Africa. 

It’s a big deal since this will mark the first time that the Canadians will face the South American team in an international men’s competition.

Team Canada’s head coach, Stephen Hart, said:  "When you’re talking world football, you can’t talk about it without mentioning Argentina. 

They are one of the greatest nations in the game. This is a huge game for Canada and its players."

The game will take place on May 24, 2010 at Estadio Monumental on May 24.
