Cartilage damage in an ankle will keep American midfielder, Benny Feilhaber, on the sidelines for the next few weeks after an X-ray and MRI showed that an injury he sustained in practice earlier this week was a little more serious than was thought.

There’s no definite timeline for his return but the team physician has ordered him to wear a bandage and rest for 10 days.  At that point, his situation will be reevaluated.

I don’t know how much he will be missed since, this season, he’s appeared in 18 matches for Aarhus and has scored only once but he has scored twice for the U.S. national teams for which he played 30 games.

Hopefully, the injury heals soon and he will be back on the field in no time.
